During our recent Annual Employee Appreciation Dinner, Captain Bruce Sherwood was announced as the recipient of the 2018 David B. Dewey Firefighter of the Year Award. He was nominated by his fellow firefighters for his dedication, sense of duty, leadership, commitment to the Fire District, and customer service. Four other employees were recognized at the dinner for their years of service. Battalion Chief Dave McQuead and Captain Brian Slattery were recognized for 15 years of service while Fire Prevention Specialist Nicole Berry and Office Support Coordinator Sandra Reyes were recognized for 5 years of service.
