The Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District is currently accepting bids for sole source contractors for forced vegetation management/hazard removal. As the selected contractor, you would be contacted when a property owner fails to bring their property to compliance or to complete other fuel modification projects as directed by the District. Common mitigation projects include mowing weeds and grasses, removing dead or dying vegetation, creating vegetation clearance around roads and structures, falling dead trees, and removing dead palm fronds. Please reference the attached bid packet for more information. Interested parties should have applications returned by 5PM on May 15, 2023.
