Office Support Coordinator – Under general supervision of the Fire Marshal, performs a wide range of clerical, reception, and customer service oriented tasks to coordinate, streamline, and support the Fire Prevention Bureau in advancing the District’s Mission to protect life, property, and environment through prevention, preparedness, education, and emergency response.
Firefighter/Paramedic (Internal Recruitment) – Under the direction of a Company Officer, a Firefighter/Paramedic (FF/PM) provides basic and advanced life support services to ill or injured persons in accordance with the policies established by the Department of Emergency Medical Services of San Diego County. paramedic/Firefighters are responsible for performing the duties of a firefighter assigned to engine companies and other specialized District apparatus.

Accounting Technician (CLOSED) – This position supports administrative services (financial and clerical) for the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District. Applications must be received by 12:00 (Noon) PST on Feb. 04, 2021. Postmarks, faxes or any other electronic methods will NOT be considered.
Part-Time Driver Operator (Internal Recruitment) – The Part-Time Firefighter Driver Operator (PTFFDO) classification is a temporary part-time safety position and falls under the Operations Division – RSF Station 6 Volunteer Program. The position works under the direct supervision of a Company Officer. The work involves participating in duties of protecting life and property through the performance of firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical service activities. The position requires all fire suppression, rescue and EMS related skills required of a firefighter and may be directed to perform any or all of those skills. The position requires working in a hazardous atmosphere both in an individual capacity as well as a team member. For more information see the Job Announcement and Description below:
Volunteer Firefighter – The Fire District is accepting applications to become a Volunteer Firefighter. To be considered for the position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have current San Diego County or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic certification
- Current CPR card
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class C Driver’s License
