The Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District is currently accepting applications for the position of:
Entry Level Firefighter Paramedic - A Firefighter/Paramedic (FF/PM) provides basic and advanced life support services to ill or injured persons in accordance with the policies established by the Department of Emergency Medical Services of San Diego County. Paramedic/Firefighters are responsible for performing the duties of a firefighter assigned to engine companies and other specialized District apparatus. Applicants must be registered on the current January/April 2017 North County Regional Firefighter/Paramedic Testing Consortium. Applications, resumes, and supporting documentation must be submitted in person or received via mail no later than 12:00 pm Pacific on May 31, 2017.
Forestry Assistant - This is a summer internship position. The successful candidate for this position will work 40 hours per week during the summer of 2017. Applicants will be interviewed on-site at the beginning of June 2017.
Volunteer Fire Fighter - The Fire District is accepting applications to become a Volunteer Firefighter. To be considered for the position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have current San Diego County or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic certification
- Current CPR card
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class C Driver's License
