Station No. 2 - 16930 Four Gee Road, San Diego, CA 92127
The fire companies assigned at Station No. 2 respond to emergencies
in the ever-growing master-planned communities of 4S Ranch, Santa
Fe Valley and Bernardo Lakes Estates. This station also protects
a large business/industrial park and the communities of Bernardo
Point and The Summit of Rancho Bernardo. Station No. 2 was dedicated
in January 2003, replacing the temporary fire station firefighters
inhabited since August 1989.
Station No. 2 is also home to the fire district's new Firefighter
Training Facility. Construction began In November 2003, and
was completed in July 2004. The facility houses a 4-story training tower with three
burn rooms, three underground vaults simulating confined-space rescue
incidents, an extrication area where firefighters practice cutting
cars apart to free victims of traffic collisions, three roof props
to simulate ventilation techniques, a 33,000 gallon drafting pit,
and a splash wall. The facility also holds an on-site classroom.

From Interstate-15:
- Exit Camino Del Norte, travel West
- Turn RIGHT on Four Gee Road
- Fire Station No. 2 is on the left hand side (16930 Four Gee
Road)
From Interstate-5:
- From North County, take Interstate-78 East and travel South
on Interstate-15,
- Or, from Central or South County, take State Route-52 East
and travel North on Interstate-15
- Exit Camino Del Norte, travel West
- Turn RIGHT on Four Gee Road
- Fire Station No. 2 is on the left hand side (16930 Four Gee
Road)
